Escape Montclair Chef Bryan Gregg Aims to Reward Social Media Supporters and Industry Employees with Monday Night Friends and Family Specials.
MONTCLAIR, NJ (July 21, 2015) – Bryan Gregg, Chef and Owner of Escape Montclair and a leader in the New Jersey local food movement, today announced that he has launched Friends and Family Mondays. Food and beverage industry employees and fans of Escape’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram handles and their guests receive 25% off their checks every Monday from 3PM until 9PM.
Food and beverage industry employees are required to show a pay stub or other form of industry employment validation and social media supporters will need to show proof of Facebook, Twitter or Instagram engagement with Escape to receive the discount.
This new weeknight theme adds to the lineup of special offers extended to clients from Monday through Friday. Already in place were:
Burger Tuesday – for $24, clients will enjoy the now-famous EM Burger with either a soup or a salad and the dessert of the day.
Fried Chicken Wednesday – for $24, clients will be served Escape’s popular fried chicken with either a soup or a salad and the dessert of the day.
Prix Fixe Thursday – for $35, guests can select three courses from the night’s menu for reservations before 6:30PM.
Friday Happy Hour – for $35, guests can select three courses from the night’s menu for reservations before 6:30PM.
“I found it difficult to find a restaurant open on Mondays, the only night Escape was closed, that I could take my family to. I spoke to other chefs and bar employees who were experiencing this same situation so I decided to open on Mondays and provide a discounted menu just for my peers in the industry and Escape’s loyal social media followers,” says Chef Gregg. “There could also be some fun food concepts offered on Mondays down the road and customers who are socially-connected to Escape will be the first to learn of these events,” teases Gregg.

Chef Bryan Gregg is a native of Pittsburgh and a graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts. Early in his career, Chef Gregg honed his skills at some of the most highly-regarded restaurants and with world-class chefs in New York and New Jersey. The crusader for local New Jersey food producers then had a chance to stage at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants in France and England.
